DUREX MONOBASE is a single component polymer based cementitious mortar which has been developed to utilize advanced polymer technology to combine the strength and toughness of polymer modified cement with the flexibility of synthetics.

Uses:
DUREX MONOBASE mix can be used as the base coat in “Durex Pool Coat”, “Durex Stucco Lite Soffit” and “Durex Flexlite” system applications. Excellent cementitious joint treatment and base coat for cement board substrates. DUREX MONOBASE is also used as the insulation adhesive for “Durex Flexlite” on concrete, masonry and cement board substrates.

Advantages:
DUREX MONOBASE has been formulated to provide a highly flexible cement based coating which is crack resistant. It can be bent over a 6.4 mm (1/4") mandrel without cracking. DUREX MONOBASE provides the following features:

• Superior adhesion to various inorganic substrates
• Combines the strength of cement and the flexibility of synthetics
• Designed to allow minor movements up to 1.6mm (1/16") in the substrate without causing cracking in the base coat
